Will Graphene Coating prevent scratches?

To put it simply, no. Graphene Coating will definitely increase the durability of you vehicles paint, but it will not prevent scratches or stone chips. What it will do is essentially add a thin layer over your paint that will absorb the damage from light scratching and etching, which means that, provided the scratches have not obstructed the coating, when cutting away the coating, your paint will be protected underneath.

How long do Graphene Coatings last?

Our Ethos Graphene Coatings are profesional install only.  this professional coating offers a 10 year longevity, versus the usual 5 year often offered by may detailers.

Graphene Coatings

An evolution of Ceramic Coating, Graphene Coatings are the next step in paint protection. In addition to all the amazing qualities of Ceramic Coating, our Graphene Coating has a much lower level of heat absorption. This means that water is less likely to dry on the car, reducing the amount of salt sediment left on the vehicle. This is ideal as it minimises the opportunity for water spotting and etching, making this a preferred option for those whose vehicles spend a large amount of time exposed to the elements, perfect for our coastal weather. Scroll down for more In depth information and pricing on graphene coatings.

Package Pricing

All packages are curated specifically to cover all aspects of ensuring your vehicle has the best outcome. Regardless of whether a vehicle is 3 years old or 3 hours old, all vehicles undergo a thorough preparation step, including a full body decontamination and polish to increase gloss and remove minor defects before coating.

This preparation step includes the following:
- Pre Wash Exterior Decontamination
- Bug and Tar Removal
- Exterior Wash
- Exterior Blow Dry
- Clay Bar Treatment for Removal of Contamination on Paintwork
- All wheels removed and decontaminated (Only applicable to vehicles receiving wheel coatings)

- Full body machine polish (to remove any minimal clear coat level defects in the clear coat)

After this, the car will be cleaned entirely with IPA to ensure that no residue, oils or contaminates are left on the paintwork.

All Graphene Packages include a discounted maintenance service for the duration of your ownership.

Let's start with the basics.
Ceramic coatings go by many names such as, nano technology, glass coatings and quartz coating, though are all essentially the same thing. A Ceramic Coating is an aftermarket additional layer that is added to the clear coat of you vehicle. Our vehicles are always exposed to UV rays, dirt, debris, tree sap and other chemicals that will over time fade and oxidize your clear coat. Here is where the Ceramic Coating comes in.

WHAT IS THE COST?

The best way to prevent this is with interior coatings. The coating of choice for us is GYEON brand, one of the most highly respected and effective products on the market. This coating utilises quartz based technology to repel dirt and prevent discolouration, as well as protecting against liquids and UV-rays.

Between leather, fabric and plastic, the longevity of these coatings is usually between 12-24 months.

Interior Coatings

Just as much as the outside of our vehicles are exposed to the weathering of the elements, the interior is exposed to weathering from these same elements. Car leather and fabric can fade easily from excessive sun exposure, as well as wear and absorb stains and marks from liquids, chemicals and oils.

Wheel Coatings

Dirty wheels can make even a spotless car look unmaintained, and we all know how much we hate our cars looking dirty. Brake dust and iron particles bond to the surfaces of your wheels and, due to its corrosive properties, can cause damage to the finishes of your wheels. This is where our wheel coatings come in to save the day.

Much like ceramic coatings that we use on paintwork, GYEONs wheel coatings prevent brake dust and iron particles from fully adhering to the surface of your wheels, reducing the damage in finish and making maintenance of your vehicle much easier.

Our Wheel Coating Package comes with a few goodies, so we will break it down for you.
